This Cancellation/Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds on kushl.app. We strive to ensure fair treatment for both employers and students using our platform.

2. Task Cancellation by Employers

Before Accepting an Application

Employers may cancel a task at any time before accepting a student's application without any penalty or fee.

After Accepting an Application (Before Work Begins)

If an employer cancels a task after accepting a student's application but before the student has begun work:

  • The employer may be eligible for a full refund of the task payment.
  • A small administrative fee (5% of the task payment) may be retained to cover processing costs.
  • The cancellation must be requested within 24 hours of accepting the application.

After Work Has Begun

If an employer cancels a task after the student has begun work:

  • The employer may be eligible for a partial refund based on the percentage of work completed.
  • The student will be compensated for the work completed up to the point of cancellation.
  • Our team will review the work completed and determine the appropriate refund amount.

3. Task Cancellation by Students

Before Acceptance

Students may withdraw their application at any time before it is accepted by an employer without any penalty.

After Acceptance

If a student withdraws from a task after their application has been accepted:

  • The employer will receive a full refund of the task payment.
  • The student may receive a warning or temporary restriction on their account, depending on the circumstances and frequency of withdrawals.
  • Repeated withdrawals may affect the student's profile rating and visibility on the platform.

4. Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Navigate to the task in question on your dashboard.
  2. Click on the "Request Refund" button.
  3. Fill out the refund request form, providing details about the reason for the refund.
  4. Submit the form for review.

Our team will review the refund request and make a determination within 3-5 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed through the original payment method, which may take an additional 5-7 business days to appear in your account.

5. Disputes

In case of a dispute between an employer and a student regarding a refund:

  • Both parties should first attempt to resolve the issue through direct communication.
  • If no resolution is reached, either party may escalate the issue to our support team.
  • Our team will review the case, including all communications and work submitted, and make a final determination.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Platform fees for completed transactions.
  • Tasks that have been marked as completed by both parties.
  • Tasks where the work has been delivered and meets the requirements specified in the task description.

7. Special Circumstances

We understand that special circumstances may arise. In cases of:

  • Technical issues with our platform that prevent task completion
  • Natural disasters or other force majeure events
  • Verified medical emergencies

We may offer exceptions to our standard refund policy. Please contact our support team with relevant documentation to discuss your situation.

8. Changes to This Policy
